UML Vice President Surendra Pandey's argument that if it was written in the constitution of Nepal and the constitution of CPN (UML) that one cannot do party politics again if one goes to the post of president, those who want to go to that post would have to think 5 times.

In an interview published on Sunday in Kantipur, Pandey mentioned the fact that Yogesh Bhattarai and Rup Narayan Shrestha were removed from the UML party at some point, but today they are both in the UML, and he said that it is natural for some to be replaced by time and circumstances. Pandey's statement that such matters should be resolved politically was relevant. Vice President Pandey's argument that former President Bidya Devi Bhandari would be welcomed by President KP Sharma Oli if she wanted to be 'adjusted' to other positions, but because she was contesting for the presidency, she would not even be given membership is important. The decision taken by UML to prohibit former President Bhandari from joining the party cannot be considered correct. This is against the law at first sight.
