The economic and financial status of 11 months of the previous financial year has been made public. It has been seen that the inflation in the local market has decreased. But in the local market, especially the price increase of consumer goods has been seen to be high.
The prices of vegetables, fruits and daily consumables have increased in the market. In the beverage group and sub-group, the annual point consumer price index has increased by 10.06 percent, non-alcoholic beverages by 5.13 percent and pulses and pulses by 2.85 percent. But the annual point consumer price index of vegetables sub-group has decreased by 7.4 percent, marmalade by 3.6 percent and fish and meat by 2.91 percent.
Under the non-food and services group, the annual point consumer price index in the miscellaneous goods and services sub-group is 9.43 percent. In Kathmandu Valley, the inflation rate is 2.73 percent, Terai 2.58 percent, Hills 2.48 percent and Himalayas 4.18 percent. It is necessary to take economic corrective measures to improve this image.
