Where everyone is poor, people have no choice but to choose the 'good poor' among them. A similar situation has been created for the people in relation to the Maoists. If old political parties like Congress and UML had been able to provide good governance by doing good work for the country and the people, Maoists would never have had a chance. Still both parties are having that 'golden chance'. But looking at their tendency, it is not like to wake up without 'any special shock'.
This government, which was formed a year ago to amend the constitution, does not want to talk about that issue. In the meantime, all the valuable suggestions given by the experts have become worthless. It is characteristic of a government that does not like good governance that the suggestions made by free citizens are ignored even if they are valuable. In this situation, the same Pushpa Kamal Dahal has put forward seven points to amend the constitution with more provision in the form of government, electoral system, province nomination, province demarcation/identification and addressing rights, financial federalism, better inclusion, social justice. He also reminded that he had a different opinion when the constitution was promulgated. This situation, which is filled with great disappointment and anger among the people, cannot remain without amendment. So the situation made Pushpa Kamal Dahal the hero again.
