This year, the budget of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has not been presented yet. Due to the clash between Mayor Balen Shah and Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Gurgai, the budget could not come on time this year.
If the budget of the metropolis does not come on time, the central government and the state government will not be affected, but the residents of the capital will be greatly affected. There will be a big obstacle in changing the look and face of the capital. Who will take charge of it?
The people of the capital elected Balen Shah as the mayor by overwhelmingly voting. And, the residents of the capital are optimistic about him. The common people of Kathmandu like me understand that weakening Balen means blocking the development of the capital city.
Even now, Balen's enthusiasm for work has not decreased much. Recently, he won the hearts of the people by widening the footpaths of Vishalbazar, Indrachowk. Balen's efforts to keep the capital clean are commendable.
