It is sad to hear that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken the initiative to remove the provision of 'cooling off period' from the Federal Civil Bill which was unanimously passed by the State Order and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives.

Will a person sitting in a dignified position like the Prime Minister bring the country to good governance or bad governance? If wrong decisions are not removed under the pressure of employees, there will be no possibility of good governance in the country tomorrow. The people were happy that at least the government was doing something right, but it was sad to hear the news that the government is going to backtrack on that decision. It is absolutely wrong to hold discussions with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and other leaders not to have a 'cooling off period'.
The Prime Minister may have tried to remove it as the chief secretary and secretaries have been pressing. Prime Minister, you have to deal with such pressure.
