Four years ago, the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli issued an ordinance against the law and appointed 52 people close to him as constitutional bodies.
A case was filed in the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court four years ago that the appointment was illegal and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court has said that the verdict will come on May 28.
Because of fear of Oli, the judge often kept this case aside. Regarding this matter, Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa made a public comment saying that the public's faith in the court has fallen when the case of 52 officials of constitutional bodies, who were illegally appointed by Oli four years ago, has not been decided. However, Gagan was immediately sued for defamation in court. Gagan submitted a reply within 7 days. He was ordered not to speak freely about the case pending before the court.
It is certain that the court does not understand that late justice is equal to no justice. However, it is not fair for the court to take four years to decide whether a small decision is correct or not.
