When will an agricultural country be self-sufficient in agricultural production? Currently, the country's main trade deficit is related to food imports.
Our main trade deficit is seen in rice, wheat, corn, vegetables and daily consumables. No one wants to do agriculture. Those who are doing it are also disappointed with the state.
Even though the current young people want to do agriculture, the farmers are disappointed with the cost price of the product, the big biggie of middlemen, not stopping the import even though it is produced in the country, and the discomfort of the market. The question of why the agricultural budget that comes every year could not give successful results is being raised again and again. The state has not been able to provide advanced fertilizer seeds to the farmers in time, nor has the farmers' production been properly managed.
