Glad to hear that a Hollywood movie is going to be shot in Bandipur. However, seeing that Bandipur is not Bandipur, but the image of the city of Darjeeling in India around 1953, the hearts of the residents of this place were deeply disturbed.
Now while watching that movie, should I or we consider our beautiful Bandipur as Darjeeling? Isn't this an injustice to Bandipur? In this way, it was like selling the name of Bandipur to the international audience and promoting Darjeeling. Bandipur has its own originality and identity, thus Bandipur was not used. Let Bandipur remain Bandipur, let's not make it Darjeeling.
