The work of the Judicial Council is not only the appointment, transfer and promotion of judges, but also the responsibility of studying and investigating their conduct errors and judgments.

However, the right to overturn the judgment rests only with the High Court. The Judiciary Council is empowered to review disputed judgments and even dismiss them if they are too controversial. But looking at history, it is found that controversial judges resign before being dismissed by the Judicial Council.

Exactly the same kind of study has been done in the recent judgment of Birganj High Court and a complaint has been filed in the Judicial Council. Therefore, in the case of Mohammad Aftab Alam, who is also a former member of the Congress, it has become the responsibility of the Judicial Council to study the judgment of the Birgunj High Court as soon as possible and reach a conclusion.

Actually, this is not about any particular person, it is a mockery of legal rule. This is the latest example that there is law in the country but the leader is above the law.
