After reading the article 'Ama bane keil ama bhuzeki Vidya' published in Kantipur, I was touched by the life story of former minister Vidya Bhattarai.
It is no exaggeration that she herself is an icon of struggle, having survived pneumonia and falling from four floors in her childhood. However, when I remembered the recent comments made by our Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli about Bhattarai, my heart was broken. What is more ironic than to say to a person who has made a minister himself, 'She is not qualified to be a minister'? Moreover, insulting the parliamentarian of one's own party to such an extent is not a good thing. Prime Minister Oli's ego and pride that whatever I do or say will happen. Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba also has a big hand in making him a Maimat like this.
