From Baisakh 21, the annual examination of class 12 is being conducted simultaneously in 1,990 examination centers across the country. 5 lakh 11 thousand 525 examinees are participating in this examination regularly and partially.
After the infection of covid-19, the class 12 question paper has been sent to the email of the official person of the school where the examination center has been established, which has reduced the expenses of the national examination board. Financial, administrative and security responsibilities have been added to schools where examination centers have been established. The practice of sending questions to official emails has also led to widespread irregularities. The National Examination Board is not serious about solving it.
exam question papers are sent by the National Examination Board to the official person's email 30 minutes before the exam starts. This results in examination starting at least 30 to 40 minutes later than the scheduled time in examination centers with large number of examinees and insufficient resources. This has created an even bigger distortion.
Private schools that have established some centers provide the questions received 30 minutes ago to the examinees with answers, put the subject teacher along with the students on the school bus to solve the questions and take them to the examination center, some of the examination centers provide the questions to the students for a large amount of money.
This is doing injustice to the meritorious candidates who prepared well for the exam. In some centres, it is heard that the police-like disciplinarians stationed by the school inside the women's toilets are psychologically torturing the examinees and demoralizing them. In the examination hall, the subjects were shot with mobile phones.
Even though there are reports of activities such as providing questions to 17-18-year-old examinees before the exam, teachers involved in making cheats, discouraging students by calling such and such a school center, even after the news of the question being out, the school is being criticized by calling it model questions, it seems that the National Examination Board is limited to the responsibility of publishing a statement. It is surprising to see that the National Examination Board is only involved in the ritualistic administration of the examination without making arrangements to print the question papers and send them to the center on the police's notice without solving such problems.
Every organization has a designated person for every responsibility. Are they not accountable? How long is this impunity? Shouldn't they take moral responsibility? Or will impunity continue based on power and political proximity? The question remains. When will the National Examination Board answer these questions?
