One after the other, the corruption of billions and the direct/indirect involvement of the leadership in many scandals came to the news. We were reading and discussing it daily.

Our constitution and laws were not attracted to it except for exceptions. When we could not remember, we kept forgetting. Even if we forgot, the media of the world kept reminding us that Nepal is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. We were infamous.

Two big parties running the government together is a practice that is not common in the world right now. The country is deeply indebted. Citizens are burdened by debts and taxes. No production. The migration of young people abroad is increasing. In such a situation, the ruling party should focus on amending the constitution to reform the government and work day and night. Say only what is necessary, even if it is to avoid a small amount of embarrassment. You have to reduce your facilities and expenses even if it is to some extent.

But the government's attention is focused on making laws such as "reducing the deadline for filing corruption complaints," "increasing pre-specified benefits," and "getting pension benefits even if corruption is proven." The Prime Minister's routine is to scold, tease, ridicule, tell stories/jokes and say that 'the government will not fall under any circumstances'. Last time there was a corruption of more than 10 billion in Pokhara airport in the media around the world. In this regard, the report prepared by the sub-committee under the Accounts Committee of the Parliament has been submitted without specifying the name of the decision-making authority. Not a single word has been heard from the head of state who "does not look at the face of corruption" about such huge corruption, which is famous at the national and international level.

The teachers who have been protesting on the streets for months with very reasonable and natural demands such as the implementation of agreements made in the past, the end of educational distortions, anomalies, and the provision of their minimum service facilities, have been brutally suppressed. The so-called opposition party, whether by showing sympathy to the agitating party or by inciting them, is in the process of capturing power. The ruling party is concerned about the 'seven-point consensus'. Looking at all this, it seems that our ruling party has lost its human sensibility due to its habit of reveling in corruption, impunity, anarchy and misrule. A big campaign and movement is needed to bring it back.
