The current coalition government, which is said to be strong, has proved to be weaker than all previous governments. Rarely in history do the first and second largest parties in parliament form a government together, this government was formed that way.
But neither Congress, the main party of the coalition, has faith in the government that is said to be strong, nor does UML President KP Sharma Oli, who is leading the government, believe that the government will last for a long time. Because Congress and UML, which formed the government, do not have faith in the government they formed, Congress ministers and UML leaders are presenting various false facts to preserve their power. Similarly, the responsible leaders of the Congress are giving expressions in such a way that the power equation will not last for a long time as the people's trust towards the government is losing day by day.
The leaders of the opposition parties at that time used to say that the previous coalition government consisting of UML-Maoist and Congress-Maoist, '32-seat government does not last long'. But even the leaders of the participating parties in the government do not have faith in this government. This is the tendency of KP Oli. From time to time, there is an expression from Sher Bahadur Deuba, the chairman of the main party of the coalition, who is waiting to become the prime minister, that he has full support and confidence in the current government. Similarly, there is no strong opposition to warn against the wrong steps taken by the government. Due to both these reasons, the government which is said to be strong today is becoming weaker day by day.
Nepal Electricity Authority's executive chief Kulman Ghising was dismissed, Tribhuvan University's vice chancellor was forced to resign without being allowed to work, the government's intransigence to the demands of teachers and doctors has made him feel that the government has not done a good job. That is why KP Oli himself has been showing ignorance about the lifespan of this government. Prachanda's name alone is enough to build and destroy power. Even when Prachanda talks about the life span of power, he hits the hearts of those in power. Lately, Prachanda has started making statements like the government is collapsing every day and the responsible leaders of Nepali Congress, the main party of the alliance, are losing faith in their government, and now the government is afraid of itself. This happened due to the trend of KP Oli. If there is no change in Oli's authoritarian style, it seems that this government will not last long.
