Isn't it time for the Congress to shrug?

Oli government's bad work of 10 months has spread so much anger among people that it is difficult to estimate. Sometimes they would not cooperate with the education minister, sometimes they would force the vice chancellor to resign without submitting policies and plans, and sometimes they would remove good employees like Kulman Ghising, who were liked by the people.

There are only two ways to resolve this anger. One is that the Congress will withdraw from running the government and the other is to announce mid-term elections.

If the country is run in such a manner, there may be a major accident in the country at any time. Power can be 'ku' and an angry people can support it. We have to learn a lot from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan. Leaders are called politicians only if they can assess the terrible situation and take steps accordingly.

Even with the disgraced and failed top leader announcing that he is taking a break from politics, the streets can be very quiet. This country has deteriorated because of dictatorship in the name of democracy. People are agitated because Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has done countless bad things one after the other in 10 months. Not only the UML has been discredited by that act, but the Congress is also being discredited.
Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba's insatiable desire to become prime minister for the sixth time is getting immunity for every bad deed. If Deuba had even a little love for the country, he would not have turned a blind eye to Oli's work. It is because of his self-interest that Oli has become like an elephant.

Now the Congress should immediately turn its shoulders and form a joint government with Congress-Maoist by keeping honest and capable young leaders. If not, 'Bhashmasur Oli' will burn the country with him. It is because of Oli and Deuba that the road has become turbulent, but it is a matter of surprise that the solution is not sought within the Congress party. It is a model of not being accountable to the people.

This kind of rhythm does not run the country. Either shrug your shoulders and run the government, or else announce mid-term elections.
