Although it started in stages from last January 20, the government became aware of the teachers' movement only after it was concentrated in Kathmandu with the educational strike from Chait 20.

After returning from Thailand, the Prime Minister gave a mild response as if he did not know. In recent times, after the assurances of the Minister of Education, the comments of the Minister of Communications and the careless declaration of the Speaker, the teachers have become more frustrated and dissatisfied.

Now there is a UML-led government in the country. The Ministry of Education, Communication, Finance is part of this party. When you want to show yourself, from 'Mechi Mahakali Abhiyan' to 'power performance', there will be an appearance! If you don't like it, don't care even if there is a demand from teachers all over the country to release the Education Act that has been stuck for years! After this, how long will the teacher stay wise?
If the government was able to run in a system, such problems would not have come. We have understood that

movement is painful from many scary movements in the past. For now, let's consider the teachers' movement as a small but important form of it. The previous consensus was not enough. The Education Act was not discussed. It did not happen even when the attention letter was submitted. The sessions of both the Houses, which can be convened today, have been convened on the 12th of Baisakh.

Due to the old government habit of agreeing, making promises, making commitments but not doing the work, this time the teachers are in the position of 'not going without taking the School Education Act'. Teachers who came from far away, and some of them even brought their children with them, have joined the movement.

Even after 16 days of general strike, the government does not seem to be moving towards solving the problem. How long will the government continue to suffer innocent teachers?
