The perversity of contesting elections and robbing state funds by getting close to leaders and being appointed as expert advisors after the people do not trust them has increased a lot. The latest example is Agni Kharel, an expert advisor recently appointed by the KP Sharma Oli government.

Kharel is the same person who contested for the House of Representatives from Jhapa in the last general election 2079. He was not trusted by the people there and lost the election. Nepali Congress General Minister Vishwa Prakash Sharma defeated him.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed an expert advisor through the decision of the Cabinet last week to those Kharels who were lost by the people and provided service facilities from the state fund. Kharel is a resident of Oli's district and also a UML leader. How much salary and facilities have been given to him as an expert from the state fund? That has not been made public yet. Now call Kharel a leader or an expert?

It is not only Kharel's fault, but the prime minister who appointed him is equally to blame. Therefore, the fault of all the current disturbances is not of the system, but of the characters who run the state. When UML President Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba criticize good governance for their position and prestige, a big question is being raised about the system itself. He had previously become Attorney General and Law Minister due to Oli's grace.

This is simply disrespecting the opinion of the people. In this matter, not Kharel, but the Prime Minister should give an explanation to the public. If not, there should be no delay in bringing both Prime Minister Oli and Kharel to court for misappropriation of state funds.
