The Terai Madhesh Awakening campaign of the main opposition party Maoist, which started from Jhapa on February 12, was suspended before reaching Rautahat after 12 days. The program scheduled for Chait 8th has been postponed by the Maoists saying that the royalists have started to become active.

The awakening campaign started by him gradually became inactive and in the same situation, the sudden activism of the royalist seems to have benefited the Maoist and its president Pushpa Kamal Dahal. It was understood that the Maoists wanted to take a break from the program when the public participation in the program, which had been scheduled for a long time, started to decline.

Although he has been thanking Congress and UML, the main parties of the current ruling coalition, for removing him from power and bringing him to the people, it can be clearly seen that Dahal has grown angry at having to stay out of power.

As a result of that, he has started to be very involved in dialogues and meetings with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli. Dahal is now leading the dialogue by saying that the political parties that were active in bringing the republic should unite again to preserve this system. But it is difficult to understand whether he who does not do anything without personal interest is really worried that the current system is going to be in crisis or he is just playing a game of chance.

Dahal, who argued that he should go together with the king during the armed war, will not have to go so far if two to four thousand people surrounded the former king from the airport and escorted him home after the system has changed. But his recent activities understandably scared him a lot. In recent days, Dahal has accused the king of being a 'vaimara' and 'murtichor'. While he has not been able to show any proof of that. What is said without such evidence will only serve to weaken one's own ground in the future. Dahal must have felt that by making such accusations against the former king, the people who were in his favor could be provoked. But such things do not seem to bring much change in the current situation.
