Vandalism and hooliganism in the university under the guise of the New Union or any other student organization is reprehensible. No matter how much you criticize it, it is less.
On Friday, a group of leaders of the ruling Congress-aligned Navy vandalized the office of the Rector and the Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies at Tribhuvan University. The main culprit in this is the union of trying to affect the decent activities of the university by moving the
exam. But, along with this, another thing to consider is that those who incite and encourage the students to do this should also be found and strict action should be taken against them.
Even if political party leaders or university officials or anyone else is behind the students who commit indecent activities, the administration should not back down to take action against them.
It is said that a group of five/seven people, including Narendra Saud, who was elected as a member of Swaviyu from the Union, and Sikendra Rokaya, coordinator of the Trivi Sangharsh Samiti, vandalized the office of Rector Khadg KC and Dean Shankar Khanal in Kirtipur.
The students have been protesting through the Trivi Sangharsh Samiti for a few days, demanding a reduction in the fees of the central department. They submitted the memorandum and locked the Rector's office. But after the university administration broke the lock, they did such vandalism.
Even in the past, there has been no action against the powers that be involved in such activities. So let's take timely action and give advice. Is it also the fault of the university administration, which does not listen to anything as if the New Union has committed a crime when there is not enough time to study for the exam due to the Swabiyu elections? Let's pay attention to this side as well.
