Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recent talk about federalism has further irritated the Madhesh party.

Oli's statement that federalism is not like other basic subjects of the constitution, its number and form can be changed, has created a stronger position for the Prime Minister to pass the ordinances submitted to the parliament.

Jaspa, Nepal and other Madhesist parties who consider federalism as their bottom line, will they support the ordinance submitted by the government until Oli does his bidding? This aspect is also considered now.

The Madhesh parties have been saying that because of their movement, federalism has come to Nepal, and since it is included in the constitution, it is unheard of to erase, change and remove it. They have come to
by accusing Prime Minister Oli of being intolerant of federalism and therefore trying to thwart federalism by not giving power to the provinces.

Oli's latest statement about federalism has strengthened the suspicions of Madhesh parties.
