Every year, the Nepali Army celebrates Mahashivratri and Army Day by organizing various programs at Tundikhel in Kathmandu.

During the preparation of the event, the helicopters flown by the army cover the center of the capital with dust and the dust spreads throughout the valley. At the same time, the air quality is poor and the environment is polluted, and on top of that, the health risks have increased when the army acts in a way that harms the health of the civilians. What is surprising is that on the day of Sena Day, in which special persons of the state will participate, water is poured in advance to prevent dust from flying. Therefore, the Nepali Army should be vigilant and responsible towards the civilians as well.
