The winter session of Parliament has started from January 18. There is no doubt that this convention was quickly fixed amid the strong demands of the opposition parties.

The government should have called the parliament meeting after the opposition parties warned that they would start a protest if the parliament session is not convened quickly or demand a special session. Meanwhile, the government has introduced an ordinance with the intention of not convening the session of the parliament quickly. The Ravi Lamichhane case and the phenomenon of concealment of corruption cases against various leaders may be raised strongly in the Parliament and it may be difficult to deal with it. Meanwhile, no attention was paid to convening the parliament with the intention of running the government through ordinances. But the parliament must have been called as it could not bear the strong pressure of the opposition.

On the first day of the convention, both the ruling party and the opposition were seen standing up for defense. The saying that the government belongs to the ruling party and the parliament belongs to the opposition is established in democracy. No matter how much the government has a majority, the opposition party is always powerful in the parliament. Even MPs with only a few seats have the power to shake up the entire parliament with reasoned debates and ideas. Even if his voice is not passed in the voting process, but in general understanding, even a single member of parliament can cause an earthquake in the government and parliament. All the opposition parties are united and the ruling party including the big parties is still powerful. It cannot be said that there will not be any conflict between these two forces throughout the duration of the Parliament.

There is a possibility that the opposition will make the ordinance issue a major issue in this parliament. No matter what the issue looks like on the outside, the inner issue is the pain of losing power to the opposition, the pain of not succeeding despite playing many games to topple the government. Most of the time now, there is little chance of talking about people's interest and country development in the parliament, there is a possibility that there will be a good fight between the government side and the opposition side. It is not right to spend time on the swindling of power and accusations by overshadowing the issues of public interest, law making and the country's progress. Therefore, there is a request on behalf of the conscious people not to present in the parliament and not to turn the parliament into a battle ground for both the parties to create more hatred among the people.
