Let the state listen to the oppressed

After many years, we are very happy that Kantipur Dainik understood our pain and told 'Birta's pain'. In Saturday's issue, the struggle of women's activists was carefully covered.

Let the state listen to this pain, take appropriate steps and ensure that the farmers do not have to suffer any more. Our problem is not created today. The Birta problem started in Nuwakot when Prithvi Narayan Shah took over the state government. We do not know Birtawal, nor do they know us. Nor do they know where the Lalpurja land they have is. However, they are living with Lalpurja as their land, we have been living here with blood and sweat since our ancestors. Those of us who are in such a problem will have to be solved by the state itself by making a revolutionary decision. Let the Kantipur media put more pressure to draw the attention of the state so that we can give justice to the farmers.
Chudamani Gajurel ,
Former President, District Land Rights Forum, Nuwakot

The pain of separation is the problem of women, men, youths and everyone in more than a thousand households here. We have been suffering from this problem for years and generations. Farmers here have shed their blood and sweat to cultivate, build houses, but it is not possible to say with certainty that this property belongs to me. Worrying about what to pass on to our descendants tomorrow as assets. We don't have to ask for the red portion of the land that we have cared for and protected since our ancestors. The rulers of yesterday have been weak. They had to come here and measure and give the land to the farmers. However, that is not happening. Why the state and its representatives do not want to solve the problems of thousands of farmers? They always want to play politics on us. Are the leaders just making us a vote bank?
Khadgmaya Neupane ,
Member, District Bhoomi Adhikar Manch, Rasuwa

Kantipur Dainik has written and published the story of the painful struggle of a tireless female warrior in the land rights campaign. Women's rights activists have gained more courage and courage. Kantipur has given us a place so that the state can listen to our sorrows, pains and stories. We believe that ministers, prime ministers and parliamentarians living in the state and in power must have heard it.
