Child singer Sachin Periyar, who won the hearts of Nepali people with his sweet speech, steady laughter and amazing talent, is no longer with us today. Sachin did not get to experience the joy of childhood.

Poverty, weak physical condition and family neglect made him always vulnerable. By abusing the help raised by his own father in the name of sympathy, he extinguished the light in Sachin's life. When the family and the society become a burden for an unintelligent child to support him, he also loses the opportunity to get timely treatment. In the name of

going viral, social media made Sachin a business tool. His pain, tears and differences were made into entertainment material. YouTubers turned her misery into salable content to increase their views and income streams. Sachin's childlike mind could not understand himself as he was made to sing, dance and perform every day. This selfish behavior of the society not only dried up Sachin's life but also raised serious questions about our morality.

This incident has highlighted the failure of the state, society and parents. Our failure to protect children's rights is evident. Neither the state could make any reliable arrangements for the children who were oppressed by poverty and lost their parents, nor did the society show sensitivity. If a talented child like Sachin could have been given the right guidance and protection, his life could have been much brighter. Sachin, let the pain you faced be a serious lesson for us now. Your talent and smile will never be forgotten. May your tragedy become an inspiration to prevent other children's dreams from being crushed. This society could not save you, but your story will always live in our hearts.
