Borrowing and lending is a natural process that most of us do. It is not a new thing for a government or a nation to borrow from others like individuals.

According to the data till the end of October 2081, our country has taken more than 25 trillion 18 billion loans. Borrowing itself is both right and wrong. Where is the loan invested? Has such a loan given a qualitative return or not? What matters is whether jobs are created in the country.

In complex situations like the 2072 earthquake and the embargo imposed by India, it is not appropriate to take a loan to build a view tower, build a road and pay employees. The Pokhara Airport, which was built three years ago with a loan from the Chinese government, indicates this. There are no international flights from Pokhara and the income is not that much, yet Nepal is still carrying the burden of the loan principal and interest. How much of the weight of more than 25 billion public debt is right, how much is wrong? A Nepalese person has more than 83,000 loans. About which there should have been a discussion in the intellectual class, but so far neither the intellectual class nor the government has held a debate.
