Nepal Premier League (NPL) has become an important milestone in the history of Nepali cricket. In its first edition, NPL did a remarkable job of introducing Nepali cricket at the international level.
The participation of foreign players, international broadcast and recognition of talents within Nepal have transformed this tournament into a proud moment of Nepali sports. Janakpur Bolts have won the title in the tournament, in the true sense this victory belongs to Nepali cricket as a whole. Nepali cricket fans have the biggest hand in the success of NPL.
Their love, support and enthusiasm for the game not only made the tournament possible, but made it historic and remarkable. Nepali cricket has risen above any caste, community or regional identity and bound all Nepalis in one spirit.
The presence of world famous players like Brian Lara, Shikhar Dhawan, live broadcast from Star Sports and new possibilities in domestic cricket has been opened by this tournament. The excellent performance of Nepali players has exposed the sports talent in the country.
Producing qualified players for the national team from the domestic tournament is one of the biggest achievements of this tournament. Cricket has instilled a sense of unity and brotherhood in the Nepalese society. Meanwhile, there have been cases where some have tried to divide on regional and ethnic lines. The defeat of such efforts is the main message of NPL.
To maintain this success of cricket, it is necessary to pay attention to the development of a strong domestic structure and modern infrastructure. Nepali cricket can be strengthened only by organizing franchise teams, attractive salaries of players and big tournaments.

Cricket Kumbh Mela, which lasted for 22 days at the Trivi Cricket Ground, brought joy to the whole country. Many thanks to the Nepal Cricket Association and especially its secretary Paras Khadka, who realized the importance of the game and played a leading role in making cricket popular among the Nepalese people in a short time.
There are three important aspects of this project. It further increased the popularity of cricket, brought excitement to the players and introduced budding players, and made the policy makers think that one or two more convenient stadiums of international level should be built in the country due to the great potential of cricket in Nepal. Apart from that, this competition has also done the work of introducing Nepal to the world and bringing dynamism to the country's economy.
This competition has proved multifaceted. However, there are some aspects to consider. The main question is what kind of stadium is needed to continue the sports competition, at which place to organize it. And the organizers should think seriously about which season to do it.
Next, how fair would it be to hold a sports competition in the midst of a big fuss, disrupting the academic environment in the university campus? The educational field is a peace zone. Therefore, the nearby Moolpani Cricket Stadium can be an alternative to the playground of Trivi. It can be operated in next season's NPL Mulpani by making it available.
