Mohan Vaidya 'Kiran' stands firm as a true revolutionary leader in the midst of communist and revolutionary parties who keep calling themselves revolutionaries only in speech and are drowning in traditional parliamentary politics.
He does not accept anyone giving him any position of responsibility, he cannot be satisfied with what others do in his plans and neither does he. Yet he is steadfast in his principles. The theory that it is very difficult to change the leadership of the Communist Party has also been made clear by the recently concluded Congress of the Communist Revolutionary Party led by the same Vaidya. Vaidya, who is cutting the net due to age, will be the sole leader of the party for the next five years. That too, not sitting on the chair of power or opposition like other parties, as a rebel revolutionary leader.
According to Vaidya, who is known as the original leader of Maoists, the seeds of rebellion planted by him when he started politics have not grown yet. Vaidya, who fought in the ten-year war with Prachanda-Baburam, has been calling the detailed peace agreement signed by Prachanda with the then government as surrender while he was in jail in India. So he is on the way to continue the same war. But due to the condition and age of the party led by him, it does not seem that he will be able to reach the destination. However, he still hasn't given up. Irrespective of the size of the party, it can be said that he is a true revolutionary leader because of his stance. On the other hand, it is his weak point to see the situation of the country when he sowed the seeds of the people's war and the situation up to now, and to try to apply his stance at that time to the current situation as well. This means learning to change with time. Vaidya still portrays himself as a staunch Maoist. His stance cannot be denied. However, due to the status of his party, his health condition, age, etc., the seeds of revolution that he has sown are still not seen to take the shape of a plant.
