Nepal's economy is currently in recession. Loans have not been expanded in proportion to the increase in liquidity in the bank. Therefore, Nepal Rastra Bank is collecting money from the market every week to manage banking liquidity. The import and export of our country has not increased, the real estate business has slowed down, the construction sector has stagnated.
The process of closure of industries and businesses has started to increase, while even those that are in operation have not been able to run at their full capacity. Even when the economic condition of the country is becoming so critical day by day, those who are in the position of running the state do not seem to have any concern.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should be the most concerned about the economy at the present time. But instead of discussing and consulting with experts in the economic sector to improve the crisis-oriented economy, Prime Minister Oli is busy inaugurating the view tower built by spending billions of the country to fulfill his ambitions. They are wasting precious time in inaugurating structures that will not have any long-term benefits, satirizing opposition parties and leaders.
If we don't pay attention to solving the problems of the country's economy, it cannot be said that the economy that is benefiting from remittances will not be able to recover. The rulers of the country may not have much difficulty but it seems that the common people have to suffer a lot.
