The nexus of Energy Minister Deepak Khadka, Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Choudhary and Chairman of the State Administration Committee Ramhari Khatiwada is enough to see a vivid example of how the web of corruption and its side effects are hollowing out the country.

One minister will not pay about 60 million scout dues, another minister will not try to collect the arrears and even if he does, he will pressurize to waive the fine and try to hide the complaint given by the chairman of the parliamentary committee for 10 months without discussing it! It is seen that the main intention of the three people is to save the minister of their party. What a coincidence that all three are leaders of the same party Nepali Congress.

Work that benefits individuals and causes losses to the country is a type of corruption. On the one hand, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says that 'I will not even look at the face of corruption, I will bring good governance to the country', on the other hand, he will put together the ministers who have done wrong in the cabinet, what a contradiction?

On the other hand, Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa always talks about good governance, but why can't he talk about such a deed done by his own party leader. Will good governance come to the country in this way? Will the country be free of corruption? The prime minister, the parliament and the parliamentary committees are the biggest responsibilities in the country.

What can we expect if the state system committee tries to hide corruption? To what extent is it justified to try to hide the complaint without bringing it into discussion for 10 months? Why was Scout's complaint against Minister Khadka hidden in the State Administration Committee? Committee Chairman Khatiwada should answer that. If a similar complaint was filed against the leader of the opposition party, would he remain silent?

It is abusing your position to discount whatever your party does and listen only to others. Such wrongdoing was not expected from Khatiwada. When the government and the party remain silent on such matters, the image and reputation of both will fall, and the country will gradually fall into chaos.
