International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3. It is completely wrong to think that the government has fulfilled its responsibility by celebrating the program once a year. The state has not been able to provide even the minimum service facility to people with different abilities.

The state still discriminates against people with disabilities, to what extent hospitals, offices and roads are not disabled friendly. How difficult would it be for a disabled person to walk when the box is disappearing on the road? The government budget has not reached them.

Nepal Apang Sangh, Khagendra Navjivan Kendra is in Jorpati Narayantar. The political dispute within it has not been resolved yet. Despite the annual income of crores, the disabled people living there have not been able to get facilities. There is no transparency in financial transactions.

The high-level investigation and monitoring committee has issued a report about corruption, irregularities, irregularities and arbitrary decisions. It is ironic that an organization that works for people with disabilities is sinking into such a mess.
