The guidelines on teacher transfer 2081 issued by the outgoing Minister of Education Sumana Shrestha as a ministerial decision is appropriate. As education ministers who change at least 3/4 times a year leave without Cinco, Sumana has done a good job in her 4 months term. Party influence, financial transactions and nepotism played a significant role in teacher transfer.
Fraternal organizations (more favorable) of parties like Sanghs, Organizations and Federations were widely criticized for transferring their members on the basis of favors, bribes and kinship. The current Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Vidya Bhattarai, must also have found this procedure positive. It was seen that some representatives of the school management committee, who had joined the committee through the party's quota, were seen meeting the education minister to cancel the procedure.
It was never fair that a teacher who has served for years should continue to serve in remote areas, while a junior who has served for one year needs to be transferred immediately. Various corrupt people who transfer large sums of money have opposed it because the business earned by this method is very large. Why was the commission exam given to those who joined the process to be transferred immediately at the time of employment, no matter where they were appointed?
Minister, general teachers are in favor of this guideline. Hence essential points can be modified. Otherwise, it is requested to respect the sentiments of common teachers by continuing this guideline.
