Skilled manpower is one of the essential foundations for the development of any country. When there is a shortage of skilled manpower in a country, it becomes difficult to develop its political, cultural, economic, social, and environmental aspects. Therefore, skilled manpower is the asset of every country. In Nepal too, 42.56 percent of the total population is youth.

Although the share is large, the emigration of Nepali youth abroad has been accelerating in recent years. An average of two thousand youths are said to go abroad every day. Even if they go abroad for studies or employment, the chances of returning from other countries are less than in the Gulf countries. It cannot be said that all youths have migrated abroad only due to financial compulsion. Many have also gone abroad due to ambition. They are also being motivated to go abroad due to the excitement, money, and social prestige of living abroad. It seems that the children of millionaires also want to go abroad, can this be called financial compulsion?

Gold can be cultivated in the empty land of their own country. They can be self-employed and provide employment to others. Is that a dream for the youth? Many do not even do ordinary labor in Nepal, but are ready to do any work if they go abroad. Therefore, emigration abroad has become not only a compulsion for the youth, but also a dream. The youth are the hope and trust of the country. There is no exemption for the youth who migrate abroad because there is nothing and nothing in the country. The hand that goes abroad must be rusted in this country. There can be nothing greater than the motherland.

There are also aspects like unemployment, lack of facilities according to qualifications, political instability, corruption, uncertainty about the future, and financial pressure from the family in the state apparatus. But the job of the youth is to improve the situation. The country should accept the issues that are getting better. Will improvement be achieved only by the youth going out and sitting there criticizing the country's leaders? Therefore, the youth should change the leadership in the country, raise their voice against corruption and unrest. The country should be made better. Production, entrepreneurship, and innovation should be done. 

Democracy is strengthened by the activism and participation of the youth. Most of the changes in Nepal have been made through the leadership of the youth. Prithvi Narayan Shah, BP Koirala, and Pushpalal Shrestha were young when they started their initiatives. Many young people have become martyrs. What would the country have been like if they had also fled because the country's situation was not good and was not suitable for living?

Not only in Nepal. Even if we look at world history, the leadership of the youth is more visible in important revolutions like the Chinese Revolution, the British Industrial Revolution, and the Russian Revolution. Nelson Mandela of South Africa started his political struggle against apartheid in his youth. Che Guevara also joined the Cuban revolution in his youth. Mahatma Gandhi also started his politics against the British rule in his youth.

What can't the youth do? The great philosopher Lenin also said, 'Give me a generation of youth, and I will transform the world.' Similarly, Che Guevara said, 'Youth is the fuel of revolution.' No matter how many miraculous developments have taken place in the world, youth have made a great contribution. Youth should also play a significant role in fulfilling the dream of prosperity of Nepalis. Youth should play a role in bringing about technological, social, cultural and economic revolution.
