Sell 'man' for 'money'!

What you should know

The main source of income for underdeveloped countries today is to bring in 'money' by selling 'man'. Let's change the subject of the trade of man and money - more than 2,500 young people from Nepal alone are leaving through Tribhuvan International Airport every day - in search of work, in search of higher education, in search of a secure future...

Even if they leave the country in search of something, they are flying on the condition that others will use their labor, hard work, intelligence, and skills. In return, 'money' has come to Nepal - in the form of remittances.

We are proudly saying through the medium of Sancha - the country's foreign exchange reserves are at their highest ever. In today's world economy, the way countries are structured, their progress and decline are also taking place in different ways. There is a lot of difference in the way developed countries treat less developed countries, use and support them, and the way developed countries look at poor countries. There is also a difference in the way neighboring countries treat strong neighboring countries and weak neighboring countries. This makes it clear that in today's world environment where the strong rule, the strong are becoming stronger and the weak are becoming weaker. To make the nation weak or strong? It depends on the policy adopted by the state. The issue of policy-making is the government's and the government is the product of politics. Since the politics that formulate this policy has not been able to take positive momentum, the situation of the country today is becoming weaker and unstable day by day. And, the country has become a playground for foreigners. Citizens have stopped seeing a secure future in the country. They have stopped studying, working, and doing business. And, that is why today's young generation is going abroad - in thousands every day. Why and how was such an environment created? Who will take responsibility? Now is the time to think seriously.

Remittances from selling people may provide the country with remittances for a short time, but this issue is not good in the long run. Instead of creating negative comments that the country does not have a favorable environment, all stakeholders should think about this issue.

It is impossible to imagine running a state without political parties in a democracy. In countries with a multi-party system, political parties have a majority. The responsibility of running the state lies in the hands of the major political parties in the country. As the nearly four decades since democracy approached, it became clear that no political party could get a majority and could not properly utilize it even when it had a majority, resulting in an unstable political situation in the country. Due to unstable politics, the government kept changing in a short period of time and the projects started were left in a state of limbo, so enterprises could not operate in the country and citizens were deprived of employment opportunities.

Leaving the country when one is born in this country and capable of doing something for the country is also a shirking of one's duty. Shouldn't a citizen do anything for his own country? Doesn't he have a duty towards the state? Shouldn't he have to bear the responsibilities of a citizen? A citizen is not allowed to run away from his duty. A citizen should not shirk from his duty.

If the education system were improved, people would stay in the country. The foundation of the state is its education system. It is said that if you want to develop any country in the long term, invest in education. The development of education instills in people a sense of responsibility towards the country, love for the soil, and duty as a citizen.

The reins of the country have revolved around a limited number of political parties and individuals. The current situation has been created due to the tendency of repeatedly voting for the same leadership, electing and re-electing them, even though the leadership is tested time and time again. Citizens also lack the ability to choose leadership.

The above-mentioned situation has left today's state system in turmoil. The country is on the path from self-reliance to dependence. This trend needs to end.

Now the days of earning 'money' by selling 'man' in the country must end. And, a way to earn money with money must be sought. Agriculture, tourism, hydropower, technology-services should be made the main subject of income generation. Only after the full utilization of youth skills, knowledge and capabilities will the country walk on the path of prosperity.
