A 60-year-old man has come to the primary health center with chest pain. After the examination, he was sent to the upper hospital on suspicion of having a heart problem. What should be understood from here is that in the case of a heart attack, treatment should be started as soon as possible. Angioplasty is best if done within two hours, best if done within 6 hours, even if done within 12 hours it can be beneficial . Immediate angioplasty in most heart attacks can save death as well as many other complications .

Data show that every half-hour delay in treatment of heart attack patients reduces the life expectancy by one year. It means that if a heart attack is treated half an hour sooner than if it is treated half an hour later, it is possible to live one year longer. There is a saying in cardiology - minutes are muscles. That is, the process of heart muscle dying is continuous every minute of a heart attack person. Treatment as soon as possible can stop this process and save the heart muscle . Therefore, if we can know the heart attack in time and treat it quickly, we can save the muscle, heart and human being. The longer it is delayed, the more the risk, complications and death can be reached.

Two types of blood thinners are given to prevent the stent (mesh) placed during angioplasty from closing again - for a year . After one year, one is reduced, the other should be continuously eaten .
