Today, everywhere people travel, discuss, chat, gather and see and hear intense anger towards political leaders. Especially with the main leader of the big political parties, there is dissatisfaction, anger and disgust of the people. Many have the same intention, which cannot be expected from this great leader.

They cannot address the problems and concerns of the people. Such comments come not only from the public, but also from active leaders/activists in party politics. In some cases, slogans and physical attacks have also been attempted against political party leaders and incumbent prime ministers and ministers at public events. If anyone has the most role in creating such a political environment, it is the political party and the leadership. 

The communist and democratic political parties of Nepal have played a very important role in the political transformation of Nepal.  To succeed in the revolution of 2007 against the autocratic Rana regime, to end the independent panchayat system and to end the feudal monarchy through the armed people's war and the people's movement of 2062/63. The role of the current major political parties is important in bringing about a democratic republican system.

It is the political party and its leadership that brought the democratic political system through the difficult struggle of more than six decades. This political system was established by the struggle and sacrifices of hundreds of leaders/activists and people under the leadership of those political parties, that is, the current democratic political system is the result of the struggle of these political parties and leadership. 

The role played by the political leadership is very important in bringing the democratic system in Nepal. However, a situation has arisen where the political leadership, who played a historic role in the transformation of the state system, has to run to preserve the reputation of its past contributions. No matter how much they have contributed in the past, the people have felt that the main leadership of the big party has become a 'horse for the country and the people'.

The comment that this leadership cannot solve the serious economic-political crisis that the country is experiencing is being forcefully established. Why is this a serious question, when political parties and leadership fail, it has a serious impact on the people of Amnepali. Therefore, to dream of a new political horizon, a critical analysis of the thoughts, views, culture and behavior of the current failed political leadership is necessary. 

The height of irresponsibility

The country is in political and economic crisis. Anarchy is increasing. In general, people's lives are becoming difficult. Only a responsible and honest political party and leadership can get the country and people out of difficult situations. However, Nepal's major political parties and their leadership are not oriented towards shouldering the responsibility of addressing the serious political crisis.

The Nepali people have given a lot of struggle, sacrifice and sacrifice in building this party. The political party is the result of the people's support and struggle, the Federal Democratic Republic. But, When the political party and the leadership, which should lead the country through the difficult situation, are irresponsible, the situation is being created where the Nepali people have to suffer more and more.

Identifying the seriousness of the country's crisis, determining the solution methods to find the cause or making a strategic action plan basically depends on the theoretical and ideological approach. Without a solid ideological approach, there cannot be a method to solve the national crisis. The country's economy is supported by foreign loans and remittances.

Due to unemployment, large manpower has migrated abroad. The distorted capitalist system is making people's daily life more and more difficult. Nepal's political parties and their main leadership have no attention towards solving such multifaceted crises. There is no idea and vision to solve the challenges faced by the country and the people. 

The entire focus of the political leadership is only from power to power. Naturally, the goal of politics is to reach power, but the main question is what is power for or what is the purpose of getting power? For the benefit of the people or for the exercise of power? Current power partner Congress chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba became prime minister 5 times and UML chairman KP Sharma Oli four times.

There are no concrete examples of how he worked for the overall economic and social transformation of the country, the solution of social conflicts and the end of statelessness. He has no concern and concern for the problems, needs and concerns of the people. The leadership of Nepal's state power has become a stronghold of leaders who have failed time and time again, the progress of the country is not possible with such leadership. 

Totalitarianism is another problem of political leadership. Such thought leaders deify themselves and demonize their opponents. It prohibits differing opinions, questions and critical comments. It is not the method and system of the party, but it is violent and attacks the political future of the leader/activist who has a different opinion.

The fact that the party leadership is a reflection of the collective opinion is limited only to slogans and the party leader/activist is forced to become a silent spectator of the pomp and totalitarian tendency of the leadership. UML's action against party leaders Bhim Rawal, Binda Pandey and Ushakiran Timsena can be taken as an example. The

action was approved by the party's Central Committee. Dissatisfied with this decision due to the dominance of KP Sharma Oli, the party leadership is not in a position to have a strong opinion. Because, there is a tendency in UML to 'address' the leaders/activists who stand against Oli's proposal.

is not only in UML, but in most of the parties this trend is there. Even in the newly emerged Rashtriya Swatantra Party, there is a tendency to target leaders/activists who disagree with Ravi Lamichhane or question his views. The trend practiced in the party will also be transformed in the administration of power. So the totalitarian tendency does nothing but attack the people.

Nepal's political parties are extremely opaque. The main leader of the party is living a luxurious life. The financial source of the luxurious life is not clear. Millions of party workers are living a consumerist lifestyle without work.

What is the financial source of their extravagant lifestyle? Candidates of these parties spend crores in local to federal elections, what is the source of that expenditure? None of the major parties are linked to economic output, their leaders have no source of economic output. What is clear from this is that the source of livelihood of the party leadership is the commission given by brokers and middlemen.

Political corruption, extortion of money in the name of commission, transfer, promotion has become the source of livelihood of most of the party leadership. The resources mobilized by contractors, middlemen and brokers are people's taxes and foreign loans taken in the name of the people. However, when the party leadership is financially opaque, it is impossible to expect them to give good governance to the people. 

Parliamentary political parties and their leaders' relationship with the public is basically limited to votes. Working people, poor, marginalized people are only made a means to power for party leaders. The promises, assurances and speeches made to the people during the elections have become mere electioneering bids. People's distaste for political leaders has increased due to the fact that the people should always be used for the leader but the leader does not look back to the people. 

Another disturbing tendency of political leaders is to think that everything they do is right. Those who lead have weaknesses, they should be self-critical towards weaknesses. To admit one's shortcomings is to present political honesty. But the strange thing is that there is no commitment in the party leader to admit weakness and transform.

When mistakes and weaknesses are not realized and there is no commitment to transformation, the country cannot move forward with such political leadership. A federal system was established for the liberation, inclusion and social and economic transformation of oppressed communities. However, there is no commitment in the political leadership towards strengthening federalism, addressing the expectations of the oppressed caste, language, culture and civilization and the social justice expectations of the marginalized communities. It is basically a product of the reactionary thinking developed in the leadership. 

Politics creates culture. What kind of political culture to lead the society depends on what kind of leaders/activists to produce and what kind of public relations to establish. For this, a clear action plan for building a new leadership with ideas is necessary.

The political leadership is bent on hounding responsible and honest workers and cracking down on brokers and middlemen. Not only this, but the parties themselves are working to lead the new generation to the path of corruption and brokering. There is a doubt whether the leadership will be created to create a new political environment by analyzing the time and situation. Therefore, new ideas, approaches and leadership have become mandatory as an alternative to the political leadership that has failed to cope with this serious situation.

The world is dynamic. With the changing economic and political system of the world, new challenges and possibilities open up. Such crises create the environment for new revolutions, struggles and movements. New political ideas and leadership are born from such an environment.

In order to destroy the economic and political environment of Nepal under the control of the capitalist world system, brokers and middlemen, history has demanded new ideas and leadership to adapt to the new environment. Nepalese society is waiting for a strong presence of ideas and leadership to challenge the inequality, injustice and tyrannical social and political system.
