The road near Muglin on the Narayangadh–Muglin section, which had been blocked by a dry landslide, has reopened to traffic. A dry landslide had occurred at Khahare Khola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality–5 at 8:30 this morning.

According to Anil Thapa, Chief Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Chitwan, two-way traffic has been resumed from 1:15 after the landslide was cleared.

Earlier, at 11:15, the road had been opened one-way to allow ambulances and motorcycles to pass. Loaders, excavators, and backhoes from Narayangadh, as well as loaders from Muglin, were used to clear the landslide. The dry landslide, along with rocks, had fallen from 40 meters above at that location.

The police stated that vehicles stopped on the road have now proceeded towards their destinations after the landslide was cleared.
