In a meeting of the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives on Friday, Finance Minister Wagle said that the government is liberal regarding the salaries and other facilities of personal secretaries. He mentioned that the government is not negative about making the allowances and other facilities provided during field visits timely by implementing the necessary methods and procedures. Wagle said that the government is ready to finalize the issues of the proposed amendments to the Nepal Rastra Bank Act through healthy and legal discussions. He clarified that the government will not be 'rigid' on issues such as the structure of the Rastra Bank and the appointment of officials.

Finance Minister Wagle said, 'We are being liberal in everything, starting from the personal secretary of every MP. We are not negative about making things like field visit allowances timely and in accordance with the law.'

Finance Minister Wagle has said that there can be an open discussion on the number of members to be kept on the board of directors of the National Bank. Regarding the amendment proposals regarding the appointment and number of deputy governors, Minister Wagle said that a conclusion can be reached after a legal discussion on whether the deputy governor can be brought from outside or whether it will remain internal.
