A five-member delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ruby Kumari, has departed for the People's Republic of China today to participate in the 5th China-Xichang Cross-Border International Cooperation Forum to be held in the city of Ningchi, the People's Republic of China.

According to Ekram Giri, spokesperson for the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Deputy Speaker is scheduled to address the event, which will be held until July 1.

During the visit, the Deputy Speaker is scheduled to meet with Communist Party Secretary Wang Junzheng in the city of Linchi. The delegation will return home on July 4.
