At a press conference organized by Bir Hospital on Friday morning to provide information about Nepali's health condition, it was stated that a team of specialists is engaged in his treatment around the clock.
The hospital has said that it is not possible to say anything definite about Ganesh's condition at this time and that his condition could deteriorate at any moment. "We are still not in a position to say anything about his condition," the hospital said, "His condition could worsen at any time."
Although preparations had been made to take the patient to New Delhi, India for further treatment, the hospital has said that this was not possible because Ganesh's condition is not stable.
"The percentage of his burns is 55 percent," the hospital said, "There were preparations to take the patient to India. However, for that, the patient's condition needs to be stable. We are administering life-saving medication to him."
The hospital has stated that since his blood pressure is extremely high and his condition could worsen if he is taken to India while on a ventilator, it would be risky to move him until there is an improvement in his health.
