Farmers and workers' movement against meter badges, Nepal has announced a 'Justice March' on foot from Janakpur to Kathmandu. After the central secretariat meeting held on Saturday, the movement committee announced through a press release that the march will start from Asad 25. According to the movement committee, the march will start from Tirhutiya Gachhi in Janakpur. The movement is preparing to participate in the movement and reach Kathmandu to create pressure on the government. According to the statement, a new phase of the movement has been announced with the conclusion that the government has not taken effective initiatives to solve the meter badge crime and the problems arising from it. The movement has decided to wait for the government for 100 days and has warned that if concrete steps are not taken in favor of the victims within that period, the nationwide struggle will be further strengthened. The meeting held in Chitwan under the chairmanship of the central chairman of the movement, Awadhesh Kushwaha, has decided to proceed with the Justice March peacefully. It is reported that representatives of the United People's Rights Front, members of sister organizations and office bearers of the secretariat are participating in the meeting.
The movement committee is preparing to make the judicial struggle a national debate topic by walking from Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh Province, to Kathmandu, the federal capital. The movement has previously conducted various stages of demonstrations, court sieges and public awareness campaigns for justice for meter badge victims.
