According to the weather bulletin issued by the department today, today it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country and partially cloudy in the Terai areas of Koshi and Madhes provinces.

The weather will remain mainly clear in the Terai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain/snowfall with thunder/lightning at a few places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the Terai of Koshi and Madhesh provinces. It is said that there is a possibility of hot days at some places in the Terai of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places in the Terai of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
