To minimize possible damage due to rain, weather measurement centers and flood measurement centers have been set up in various river and coastal areas of Kavrepalanchok. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that equipment has been set up in various areas around the Sunkoshi and Roshi rivers. According to the department, three flood measurement centers and one weather measurement center are being set up in the district.
