It is partially cloudy in Madhes Province, while the weather is mainly clear in the Terai region of Sudurpaschim Province. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces.
It is stated that this afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous parts of the country including Koshi Province and it will be partially cloudy in the remaining hilly areas and the Terai regions of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces. The weather will be mainly clear in the remaining Terai region.
The Division has stated that there is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi Province and some places in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country. There is also a possibility of light snowfall in the high Himalayan region. Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is predicted in the Terai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki as well as in one or two places in Madhes Province.
Similarly, the division has stated that the weather will remain partly cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces as well as the mountainous and hilly areas of the country tonight, and mainly clear in the rest of the country.
There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi Province and snowfall in the mountainous areas. There may be light rainfall and snowfall in one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in one or two places in Madhes Province, the division has stated.
The division has urged the general public to adopt necessary precautions keeping in mind the possible effects of thunder, lightning and rain.
