The Department of Foreign Employment has directed CIIN International Qualifications to regularize the English language test conducted to select caregivers to be sent to Israel's long-term care centers. At least 14,000 people have applied to participate in the language test.

The department has sent a letter to continue the suspended test since Tuesday, asking them to complete the language test and give the results within the specified date. 'The language test cannot be stopped.' Interested candidates must apply to the department by Asad 20,' Meera Acharya, Director General of the department, told Kantipur. 'Everyone who has already applied for the language test should be able to participate in the test.'

Applications can be made to the department only after passing the specified level in English. Israel has set a fee of Rs 5,000 for this standard test. According to Israel's standards, the highest priority has been given to 'speaking' in English. At least 'B One' in speaking must be achieved. In 'Writing', 'A One', 'Listening' and 'Reading', 'A Two' should be brought.

CIIN had started conducting language tests from Monday. Out of 840 people who participated in the first day's exam, only 38 passed. '80 percent of the A Two level results have been received.' However, the number of people who passed B One in Speaking is low,' CIIN said.

Some of those who failed the exam held on Monday went to the exam hall to protest on Tuesday morning, saying that the test was conducted by AI and there was no proper management in the exam hall. There was a brief scuffle between the staff and the examinees. The Department of Foreign Employment has stated that it is studying the results of the language test. 'The questions raised by the participants are on the subject.' The department's technical team is working on understanding it,' said Director General Acharya, 'and a report will be submitted.'

CIIN did not conduct exams on Tuesday and Wednesday. 'Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, all exams conducted at this center have been postponed until further notice,' CIIN said in a statement.
