Light rain is occurring at one or two places in the mountainous and hilly parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The division has stated that it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly parts of the country this afternoon and it will be partially cloudy in the Terai region. There is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning at some places in the mountainous and hilly parts and at one or two places in the Terai of Madhes and Koshi provinces. In addition, the temperature is expected to increase in the Terai regions of Madhes, Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous parts of the country, partly cloudy in the hilly parts and the Terai areas of Madhes and Koshi Provinces, and mainly clear in the rest of the Terai areas. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places in the mountainous and hilly parts of Bagmati Province, including Koshi and Madhes Provinces, and in the mountainous parts of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces.
Similarly, the division has stated that moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning may occur in some places in the mountainous and hilly parts of the country and in one or two places in the Terai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
The division has urged everyone concerned to be alert and stay updated on the latest weather information as there is a possibility of a rise in temperature in the Terai areas of Madhes and Koshi Provinces.
