Earlier, MP Padam Bahadur Pariyar had said that the Prime Minister should come to the House and provide information with evidence on where and how much land has been encroached on, citing questions about national sovereignty. MP Ghanashyam Rijal disagreed with the Prime Minister's statement.
MP Roshni Meche insisted that Nepal has not encroached on even an inch of the border so far. MP Mahanta Thakur said that even if some land in India has been used, it cannot be said that it has been encroached on. MP Tul Prasad Bishwakarma said that since 'using land' and 'encroaching on the border' are completely different things, further clarification should be provided on this matter.
