CIB SSP Shiva Kumar Shrestha told Kantipur that some documents have been brought for examination in the matter that is under preliminary investigation. He did not reveal which complaint about DDC is being investigated.
The government had recently given a 9-point directive to the corporation to reform the DDC. Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Geeta Chaudhary had also directed the employees to immediately stop the free milk and ghee facility.
The entire process flowing through the corporation, from milk collection to sale and distribution of dairy products, billing system, accounting system, property and commodity status, was also directed to be integrated into electronic records within 3 months as per the 100-point reform points approved by the Government of Nepal.
The institute was in the news after Prime Minister Balendra Shah made public a picture of himself eating DDC cheese.
