Nepal Police has released a 3-year strategic plan 2083-085 to make the service citizen-centric and technology-friendly.
The plan prioritizes policy reforms, community police cooperation, crime prevention and control, modernization of investigation, human resource development, and use of information technology.
Stating that more than 94 percent progress has been made in the previous 3-year action plan, the police are confident that the new plan will help promote peace, security, public trust, and good governance. An annual action plan will be prepared for the implementation of the plan and will be included in the performance agreements of all levels of offices.
