Two new members have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Nepal Electricity Authority. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha on Wednesday appointed Anshu Kiran Shahi of Kathmandu-15 and Krishna Basel of Nargajun Municipality-5 for the next four years through a ministerial decision.
Similarly, the Board of Directors of the Authority has assigned the responsibility of Acting Executive Director of the Authority to Dirghayu Kumar Shrestha as the Acting Executive Director. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Authority on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Energy Minister Shrestha.
The newly appointed Board of Directors members and Acting Executive Directors were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Energy Minister Shrestha on Wednesday itself.
