The Nepali Embassy has urged Nepali citizens not to travel to Ukraine in view of the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine tension.

The embassy has issued an urgent notice requesting them to postpone their plans to travel to Ukraine until further notice. In addition, Nepali citizens in Ukraine have been urged to return to Nepal as soon as possible and safely.

The notice states, ‘In view of the latest developments in the tension between Russia and Ukraine, Nepali citizens who are planning to visit Ukraine for any purpose are requested to postpone such visits until further notice.’

The embassy has also requested Nepalis in Ukraine to stay in touch for necessary assistance. It is stated that if assistance is required, First Secretary Ranjan Yadav of the Nepali Embassy in Berlin can be contacted.
