President Ram Chandra Poudel has issued an ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts. The ordinance, which was recommended by the Council of Ministers last Tuesday, was issued by President Poudel on Sunday.
Earlier, President Poudel has issued ordinances related to public procurement, asset cleansing, cooperatives, universities, health science institutes, and dismissal of public officials.
Through the ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts, 20 acts have been amended.
The acts to be amended include the Employees Provident Fund Act-2019, Land Survey Act-2019, Land Act-2021, Education Act-2028, Land Revenue Act-2034, Technical Education and Vocational Training Council Act-2045, Foreign Employment Act-2064, Federal Parliament Secretariat Act-2064, Contribution-Based Social Security Act-2074, National Medical Act-2075, Land Use Act-2076, Forest Act-2076, Insurance Act-2079, Legislation Act-2081, among others.
Similarly, amendments have also been made to the Citizen Investment Fund Act-2047, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology Act-2048, Academy Act-2048, Civil Service Act-2049, University Grants Commission Act-2050, and Health Service Act-2053.
